From August 26 to 30, 2024, PRR Burundi organized a transformative week of intensive mentoring for the children under its care. This special initiative provided a safe and joyful environment where young people could learn, share, and grow together.
Throughout the week, the children participated in a variety of educational activities aimed at stimulating their curiosity and creativity. These sessions were complemented by communal meals, creating powerful moments of connection, belonging, and solidarity.
In parallel, PRR also held a dedicated seminar for the children’s families. The goal was to strengthen family bonds and raise awareness among parents about the importance of education and the holistic well-being of their children.
The week culminated in a heartwarming celebration on August 31, when PRR distributed complete school kits to 162 vulnerable children. These essential supplies will equip them to succeed in the classroom and pursue a brighter future.
